North Carolina Wage and Hour Act
North Carolina General Statutes §95-25.13 requires employers to furnish each employee with an itemized statement of deductions made from wages for each pay period. Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, and Winston-Salem employers must comply. NC Department of Labor enforces compliance, and willful violations can result in fines and required restitution.
