Colorado Wage Protection Act Requirements
Colorado's Wage Protection Act (C.R.S. §8-4-105) requires every employer to provide each employee with an itemized pay statement at the time of payment. The statement must list gross wages, all withholdings, deductions for the pay period, total net wages, the inclusive dates of the pay period, the employee's name, and the employer's name. Failure to comply can result in fines from the Colorado Division of Labor Standards.
