Georgia Paystub Standards
Georgia has no specific statute requiring employers to provide paystubs (it is one of 9 such states), but Georgia Code §34-7-2 requires payment of wages at least twice per month for most employees. In practice, Atlanta, Augusta, Savannah, and Athens employers issue paystubs to comply with FLSA recordkeeping and to satisfy lender, landlord, and Georgia Department of Labor verification requests. Our generator produces GA-compliant statements meeting these business requirements.
